Těšínska Museum exhibition hall is situated at the square is located right on the square, it is situated on the first floor of the building. It was opened for the public on 30.6.2001. This branch of Museum Těšínska continues in the tradition of the museum, which goes back to the mid 19th century. Thanks to local weaver, poet and collector Adam Sikora a family museum was founded, which existed until 1938. In 1922 the museum of Silesian Jablunkov museum society was opened. Jablunkov museum activities fade during the occupation of the region in 1938 - 1939. Post-war attempts to restore the museum have been unsuccessful. Currently you can see a permanent exhibition entitled "From the past of Jablunkov and surroundings" and temporary exhibitions in the premises in our branch. The permanent exhibition is divided into several units that present the history of the town, cultural monuments of the town, the economic situation in the region. Furthermore, there are objects from folk environment - interior equipment, craft tools and products of local blacksmiths, weavers, potters, carpenters and joiners. It is noteworthy example Jablunkovské and Horalského costumes are worth your attention.
